I look at life that way. Sometimes, it is a struggle to get what you want, but if you work hard enough, you can get it. When working hard on your goals, it shows in your work. As my folks always tell me, strive for what you want, and the work will follow. I have three goals I want to accomplish. One is to get good grades throughout the whole four years of High School. Two is to get in to a good college and three, which is my main goal in life is to teach. By accomplishing my goals, I have to work hard to get what I want. I know it is not going to be easy, but I am willing to try and succeed.

My first goal is to succeed in getting a three point zero for my first year in High School. It is going to be a big challenge for me only because for the last two years, I have really struggled in school. However, until I realized that I have a whole life to live ahead of me, I want to make sure I live it well because once it’s gone, it’s gone. You will not be able to go back in time and change all the wrong that you did. It is just the way life is.

If you want to get into a good college for what you want to be, you have to maintain a very good GPA. If you show your passion for what you want, the work will follow and all the hard work you did will pay off. My main goal in life is to become a teacher. To help me reach this, I am involved in activities after school. One of them, which I have such a passion for, is called S.T.A.N.D. (Students Taking A New Direction). It is a group it helps steer middle school students in the right direction.

The reason why I have such a passion for this program is because I get to teach the students all these awesome ways to not be involved in destructive decisions. Another reason why I have had a passion for it is because it will help me realize what these students are going through and how I can teach; in a better way, when I get older. You have to work really hard on what you want and you have to have a passion for it. If you don’t have the passion and commitment, the work will not be good quality and you will not like doing that. Think about what you want to do for the next 50 years of your life. Do you want to do something that you are excited for every day or something you hate every single day.
